I have a bit of an issue with the collector plate program here in BC. It does not allow you to drive the vehicle to or from work at all. I restore cars for a living and would find it beneficial to drive my vehicles to work on occasion. I understand that the risk of a collision is greater during the commute hours of the day but can ICBC not adjust the rate accordingly? I have had the opinion stated that what they don’t know won’t hurt them, do just drive it anyway. I don’t believe in paying for insurance and then breaking the rules. I feel that ICBC should make the option of driving our collectors to work possible with an adjustment to the premium of course. Your input is appreciated!
